Field expansion, a national conference, and a new university-backed leadership pathway open the first edition of From the Center.
After beginning with a small group of students, Manitowoc Public School District is expanding Trait-Based programming as a universal support across every pathway at the new MPSD Lakeshore School of Innovation. Approximately 100 to 125 students in grades 8 to 12 will share one language for self-awareness, strengths, accountability, and growth.

Stephanie Boncher, Principal of MPSD Lakeshore School of Innovation, described the vision plainly. Trait-Based principles will be woven through school culture, advisory, counseling, and daily interactions so every student, across every pathway, is known, valued, and empowered to grow.
