We’re proud to share that the Trait-Based Model of Recovery, developed by Dr. Jason Roop and implemented across multiple residential and outpatient programs, has been published in Scientific Reports (Nature Portfolio), one of the most widely read and respected peer-reviewed journals in the world.

The study revealed powerful clinical outcomes:

  • 📉 71.5% reduction in depression (PHQ-9)
  • 📉 58.5% reduction in anxiety (GAD-7)
  • 📈 Growth in nine out of ten targeted traits, including self-awareness and resilience
  • ✅ 97.1% program completion rate compared to 15.5% in the comparison group

This marks a major moment for identity-centered, strengths-based recovery. The Trait-Based Model is now part of the global scientific conversation, offering a validated, trauma-informed framework that supports transformation from the inside out.
